I have reached that stage in my life, where I don't much care for too many things. Most of what we refer to as politics is a sham, most of what we tolerate as religion is also a sham. And yet, I am deeply political and religious...I'm just not mainstream. I am my own person. I think for myself. I make my own decisions. I question everything. I am a cynic. And yet I am intensely proud of my heritage...both my Empire Loyalist heritage and my American Patriot heritage. Both were of sincere and committed political and religious stock. And for that, I salute them. They have given me hope and have fanned the coals of my faith in a better world.
